JOURNEY

Ever since I picked up my first game controller, I’ve been fascinated by the immersive worlds and compelling stories that games can create. This passion led me to participate in game jams and work on personal projects, such as developing an innovative card game designed for seamless play while multitasking. I’ve also written 2-3 story bibles for games I aspire to create, each filled with unique narratives and gameplay mechanics.

My work on projects like Beyond Darkness, a horror game utilizing procedural content generation, and PlayDetective, an AI-driven crime interrogation game, has honed my skills in game design, playtesting, and user-centric development. These experiences have taught me how to combine player feedback with cutting-edge technology to deliver meaningful gaming experiences.

Exploring the Intersection of AI and Gaming:

Beyond game design, I’m passionate about integrating AI and machine learning into gaming. My work with gesture recognition using OpenCV and AI-driven gameplay mechanics reflects my commitment to making games more intuitive and immersive. I’ve even begun experimenting with integrating head movements into games, such as tilting to peek around corners, as part of my vision for the future of interactive gaming.

I believe that games are more than entertainment; they are a medium for storytelling and connection. Like a good book or movie, a great game allows players to live a story, not just observe it. This philosophy drives me to constantly refine my skills, whether it’s analyzing player behavior, improving UX/UI design, or exploring AI-driven narratives.

As an avid gamer (40+ hours weekly), I’ve experienced countless games across various genres, analyzing their strengths and areas for improvement. This firsthand perspective gives me the ability to empathize with players and contribute meaningful insights to game development teams.

When I’m not working on games, I’m diving into logical puzzles or exploring the latest trends in technology through gamedev Discord channels. I’m currently pursuing an Azure certification to expand my expertise in cloud-based tools for game and AI development. My learning style is highly visual—I excel at mimicking and improving what I observe, whether it’s solving complex puzzles or optimizing workflows.

GRABBIX

Grabbix is a fast-paced arcade-style game where players catch falling objects in a bottomless basket. As objects drop from above, players must react quickly to catch beneficial items while avoiding harmful ones. Over time, the game increases in difficulty by adjusting spawn rates and fall speeds, testing the player’s reflexes and precision.
